NCEL - Unclaimed Winning “Carolina Cash 5” Ticket Worth $149,918 About to Expire
RALEIGH - A little spring cleaning may help a player locate an unclaimed “Carolina Cash 5” ticket worth $149,918. The clock is ticking and about to expire on that ticket purchased in Mecklenburg County!
The ticket, which was purchased for the Sept. 27, 2008 drawing will expire if not claimed at North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) headquarters by 5 p.m. on March 26, 2009.
The ticket that matched the five white balls on Sept. 27 was purchased at Simon’s Mart, 6308 The Plaza, Charlotte. The five white balls for that drawing were:
9 - 10 - 21 - 25 - 39
If not claimed, the Lottery Act designates that half of the unclaimed prize will be distributed to the Education Lottery Fund while the other half will go back into prizes for future games.
