		RALEIGH - Two tickets in the Monday, March 16 “Carolina Cash 5” drawing matched all five numbers drawn and will share the top prize of $118,998! Each ticket is worth $59,499 each. One was sold at Cubbard Express on 16th Street Northeast in Hickory and the other was sold at 5th Avenue Speed Mart on West 5th Avenue in Lexington. The ticket sold in Lexington was claimed by Randall Stamey of Lexington, and the ticket sold in Hickory was claimed by Mary Johnson of Hickory. The Powerball jackpot continues to roll! No one matched all five white balls plus the Powerball in last night’s drawing, so the jackpot for the Saturday, March 21 Powerball drawing is an estimated $70 million. One North Carolina ticket in last night’s Powerball drawing matched four out of five white balls plus the Powerball and was Power Played, making it worth $20,000 since the Power Play multiplier was two. The ticket was sold at Kangaroo Express on West Ehringhaus Street in Elizabeth City. A total of 33,540 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Wednesday, March 18 Powerball drawing, ranging from $20,000 down to $3 for a total payout in prizes worth $214,864. The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out more than $5.1 million total in instant scratchoff ticket prizes since Monday, March 16.
