Two North Carolina tickets in last night’s Powerball drawing matched four out of five white balls plus the Powerball. One of these tickets was Power Played and is worth $20,000 since the Power Play multiplier was two. This ticket was sold at Food Lion on Moores Chapel Road in Charlotte. The other ticket that matched four out of five white balls plus the Powerball was not Power Played and is worth $10,000. It was sold at Quik Chek on South N.C. 150 in Lexington. A total of 41,541 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Wednesday, March 25 Powerball drawing, ranging from $20,000 down to $3 for a total payout in prizes worth $269,274. The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out more than $4.6 million total in instant scratchoff ticket prizes since Monday, March 23. Also since Monday, “Carolina Cash 5” players have won more than $90,000 and “Carolina Pick 3” players have won more than $1.1 million in prizes.
