RALEIGH - The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) drawings will soon have a new look. Players will see a new drawing set starting Monday, April 13 with the daytime “Carolina Pick 3” drawing that is webcast on the NCEL’s official website along with all the drawing stations. The new look will be implemented on the evening drawings, which are televised live on all the drawing stations, on Friday, April 17.
The new set provides more flexibility in being able to easily change graphics for the games and add messages for players to the background from time to time. There will be no change in how the drawings are conducted--- the same attention to detail and meticulous security procedures remain in place. WRAL-TV created the new set in consultation with the NCEL.
The daytime drawings are held at 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and are webcast on NCEL’s official web site within a few minutes after the drawings take place. The evening drawings take place at approximately 11:22 p.m. seven days a week and are televised live on WRAL-TV (Raleigh), WITN (Eastern Carolina), WCNC (Charlotte), WILM (Wilmington) and WYCW (Western Carolina).
