Bobby Leonard of Oxford is the latest top prize winner on the “$200,000 Jackpot” instant scratch-off game. He bought his winning ticket at the Stovall Quick Stop on Highway 15 North in Stovall. Leonard says he’d been telling friends and family he was going to win, but that he was still in disbelief when he scratched off the $200,000 prize. “I couldn’t sleep last night. I kept getting out of bed to look at the ticket,” Leonard said. He plans to buy his wife a new car with his winnings. A total of 36,562 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Saturday, April 18 Powerball drawing, ranging from $300 down to $3 for a total payout in prizes worth $263,839.
