NCEL - $678,000 "CAROLINA CASH 5" TOP PRIZE UP FOR GRABS TONIGHT
-Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $53 Million-
RALEIGH - Tonight’s “Carolina Cash 5” top prize is an estimated $678,000—the third highest top prize in the game’s history! The highest prize won to-date is $856,998 when a Pitt County man matched all five numbers drawn to win the Nov. 18, 2007 top prize. The second highest top prize was $731,836 and was won on Dec. 14, 2006 by a Brunswick County man. If no one matches all five numbers drawn tonight, the top prize will continue to roll higher!

The Powerball jackpot also continues to roll. The jackpot for the Saturday, Oct. 31 Powerball drawing is an estimated $53 million.

A total of 34,776 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Wednesday, Oct. 28 Powerball drawing ranging from $500 to $3 for a total payout in prizes worth $355,439.

The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out more than $4.9 million total in instant scratch-off ticket prizes since Monday, Oct. 26. Also since Monday, “Carolina Pick 3” players have won more than $855,000. “Carolina Pick 4” players have won nearly $192,000 and 10 tickets won the top prize of $5,000. “Carolina Cash 5” players have won nearly $214,000.
