A total of 40,120 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Saturday, Oct. 31 Powerball drawing ranging from $200,000 to $3 for a total payout in prizes worth $619,667. No one matched all five white balls plus the Powerball, so the jackpot for the Nov. 4 Powerball drawing is an estimated $66 million. The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out more than $6.6 million total in instant scratch-off ticket prizes since Thursday, Oct. 29. Also since Thursday, “Carolina Pick 3” players have won more than $812,000. “Carolina Pick 4” players have won more than $231,000 and six tickets won the top prize of $5,000. “Carolina Cash 5” players have won nearly $966,000.
