Powerball players who purchased a ticket in Guilford County need to check their tickets! A $200,000 ticket matched all five white balls in the Wednesday, Jan. 13 drawing. It was sold at the Get & Go on NC Highway 62 East in Climax. A total of 32,007 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Wednesday, Jan. 13 Powerball drawing ranging from $3 to $200,000 for a total payout in prizes worth $430,379. Because no tickets matched all five white balls and the Powerball, the jackpot for the Saturday, Jan. 16 Powerball drawing is an estimated $40 million. The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out over $4.5 million total in instant scratch-off ticket prizes since Monday, Jan. 11. Also since Monday, “Carolina Pick 3” players have won over $738,000, “Carolina Pick 4” players have won more than $223,000, and 9 tickets won the top prize of $5,000. “Carolina Cash 5” players have won over $135,000.
