Mega Millions players need to check their tickets! One ticket is worth $10,000 after it matched four white balls and the Mega Ball in the Feb. 12 drawing. It was sold at Cruizers on Highway 64 East in Apex. A total of 13,118 North Carolina Mega Millions players won prizes in the Friday, Feb. 12 Mega Millions drawing ranging from $2 to $10,000 for a total payout in prizes worth $118,777. Because no tickets matched all five white balls and the Mega Ball, the jackpot for the Tuesday, Feb. 16 Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $56 million. A total of 29,353 North Carolina Powerball players won prizes in the Saturday, Feb. 13 Powerball drawing ranging from $3 to $400 for a total payout in prizes worth over $262,851. Because no tickets matched all five white balls and the Powerball, the jackpot for the Wednesday, Feb. 17 drawing is an estimated $40 million. The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) has paid out over $7.2 million total in instant scratch-off ticket prizes since Thursday, Feb. 11. Also since Thursday, “Carolina Pick 3” players have won over $1.5 million, “Carolina Pick 4” players have won more than $208,000 and 8 tickets won the top prize of $5,000. “Carolina Cash 5” players have won over $448,000.
