RALEIGH - The N.C. Education Lottery reminds players that a deadline to make claims for six of its instant scratch-off games is Thursday. In May, the NCEL officially announced the end of the six instant scratch-off games effective May 28, 2010. The final claims date for the games listed below is Thursday, Aug. 26.
Under NCEL policy, all instant game prizes must be claimed within ninety (90) days of the announced end-of-game date. Therefore, all prizes associated with the games must be claimed on or before Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010. Claims of $600 to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at NCEL headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well. Claims that are mailed to the NCEL must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

The NCEL is also officially announcing the end of 10 instant scratch-off games effective Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. The ten games, listed in the chart below, will no longer be sold as of that date. All prizes associated with the games listed below must be claimed on or before Nov. 29, 2010.
