The long-anticipated holiday scratch-offs are here! The season’s most sensational scratcher is Holiday Millionaire. As the name suggests, it has top prizes of $1 million. Three of ‘em. And Season’s Gold, Holiday Surprise, Peppermint 7’s and The Perfect Gift make some great stocking stuffers or gifts.

With the launch of the new holiday tickets, everyone at the lottery is pulling out the jingle bells and stockings from storage, wiping off the dust, and singing along to Frank Sinatra’s Holiday playlist.

But it still didn’t feel like quite enough. So to top it all off, today is also the start of our “Gift a Dream” holiday promotion for our Facebook and Twitter folks.

Almost everyone likes a chance to win. And this holiday season, we are giving you FIVE chances to win. We thought you might like that.

Here’s how it works. Every Tuesday of this month, you’ll have a chance to respond to a question on Facebook and Twitter about your dream gift. And we’ll draw a winner each week for a $100 gift card. Promotion Rules

But that’s not all. Everyone who enters the weekly drawings will have a chance to win the grand prize of great thrill: A tree of holiday tickets. It will be decorated with $100 in holiday scratch-offs, including a few Holiday Millionaire tickets. That’s the $10 game with a top prize of $1 million. The grand prize winner gets a $100 gift card, too.

#GiftADream The DREAM gift I would give is PEACE and LOVE to everyone! The world we live in today is so chaotic and people have forgotten what it means to love one another and help one another! My fiancé was laid off from his job back in July of this year and of course his car stopped working around the same time. He has applied for job after job and hasn’t heard anything back on any of them. He can’t get his car fixed till he starts working again and he hasn’t seen his children that live four hours away since all this has happened. It kills me that I can’t help him in his situation since I have two children of my own that I have to take care of. I know our problems seem like nothing compared to others but 2017 has NOT been a good year. NC Lottery

No, your entries are not lost! There is a glitch that some users have reported regarding issues with seeing entries in the new site. We are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Do not worry, you are entered into the drawings.

I purchased the new $3 Holiday Surprise ticket & scratched off the sleigh & thought I had won $15 but when I took my ticket to a retailer to cash it in, the machine said "not a winner." Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing something? I double-checked to ensure that I scratched to correct coordinate for the sleigh & it is correct. I don't understand.NC Lottery

Google Play is not giving us an estimate. We hope it is available soon. You should be able to sign into your account on our website with your same credentials and scan tickets and see your account. You have a Dashboard once you sign in and click on your user name. To submit tickets, use the Collect icon.

Good morning Andrea! Don't worry, you didn't lose your points. They should have transferred over. To find your points, the first thing you'll want to do is make sure you're logged in. You'll then want to click on your name, which will appear on the upper right hand part of the screen. This will pull up the "User Dashboard". If you click on the "Points" icon you'll be able to see your points. If you go to the "Enter Drawings" icon, you'll be able to enter the drawings. Hopefully this helps clear some things up.

So far, not too crazy about this new site. I can't see my points accumulate as I enter nor can I see how many points each entry gives me. Don't know if it's my settings or the design. And I have NEVER gotten a confirmation e-mail as it states I should after entering promotions. Can't figure it all out. Maybe the designer doesn't even play the lottery! NC Lottery
Good morning Paul! We understand how frustrating it can be to deal with all the changes. In regards to your confirmation e-mail, you'll want to check your spam email folder. The email address did change so you might need to change your settings to allow the address. If you're still not getting a confirmation email, you'll want to call 1-855-767-1863, and someone should be able to help you figure out what's going on.

Hello Charlotte! There are a couple of things that could be going on, first verify that you are accessing the app from within North Carolina. If you are in North Carolina and still receive the error, try connecting to a Wi-Fi or land based connection instead of a cellular connection. If you continue to receive the error contact the help line at 1-855-767-1863.

No worries Tony! We know it's going to take everyone a little bit of time to get used to everything. Simply log in and go to your "User Dashboard". Once there, you can click on the "Draw" icon. By default the "My Entries" box will be checked. If you un-check it, you'll be able to see a list of drawings and winners if they are available. I hope this helps!
