Giveaway: Big Money Playbook Dart Hunt

The Lottery’s ticket development team just couldn’t find a way to fit six big games on one scratch-off ticket. They tried to decide which games to include with a round of darts. Luckily they have terrible aim, but stumbled onto a much better idea. They created a book. The Big Money Playbook with six games all in one book.

Now we need your help finding all the missed darts. Are you up to the challenge? One lucky dart hunter will be rewarded with a pack of 30 Big Money Playbooks!

Head over to our Big Money Playbook Dart Hunt post now and share a comment telling us how many darts you found to enter for a chance to win. At the end of the promotion, one lucky Facebook fan will be randomly selected as the winner.

Hey Kathleen! You bring up a great point. If you were to compare the Big Money Playbook to a different $20 ticket, you might notice that there are fewer top prizes. Here's an important note: looking at total prizes on a game does not indicate how many tickets were printed in total for that game. Instead of looking at the total amount of prizes, you need to look at the odds of winning that prize for each game. You might notice that the odds of winning $1 million from the Big Money Playbook are one in 800,000. Alternatively, the odds of winning a $1 million prize with the Cash Explosion ticket are one in 1.8 million. That means that we printed fewer total tickets for this game compared to our more "standard" scratch-off tickets. Best of luck to you!

Hey have you folks realized that this game is not all that's it cracked up to be. Think about it. On a normal $20 ticket you can win first prize is $4Mil (3 winners) and second prize is $1Mil (6winners) . On this game first prize is only a Million (3 winners) and second prize is $100k (4 winners). I hope this will not be the norm. Look at the stats and prizes awarded... This game doesn't give you more winnings it actually less. I would hope other avid players protest against any game that is very misleading like this one. Please note that you can get the same Million winnings if you play a $10.00 ticket (excluding the Merry Bright (which is skimmy only 2 top prizes). NC Lottery

12 I bought 2 of the holiday books and the first one nothing. Second $30. I buy minimum of 10 scratch offs a wk for years and have only one $100 & $50 once. I’ve actively participated in second chance since 2012 and never won anything. It’s sad when I have 5 tickets and win $2.00 and get excited. And I only win when I buy tickets for others along with mine. NCEL it’s my time (my roof is telling me so as it’s leaking) good luck to all!

Each game that we create is set up in a different way to accommodate the different preferences of our players. Some players prefer to play for the bigger prizes, some prefer to smaller prizes more often. There are countless factors that inform the odds of each different game during the creation process, but no matter what your preferences are, you should be able to find a game that you enjoy!

Hi Ronnie, the Winners page is updated whenever a big winner takes a photo. Winner's are not required to take photos though, so the most recent wins may not be up on the Winners page. You can always see the latest winner stories on our blog as well.

Well after reading the rules I see a few key points. There will be only 1 winner. The prize will have to be picked up. The State taxes will be paid , but not the Federal. How many # of darts you find does not need to be correct. You do not need to tag anyone, just comment. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays. Be safe.
