14 instant games end Friday August 31, so if you have won a prize on one of those games you have three months to claim it.
The games that are ending are:

-    $10 tickets: $1,000 Mayhem, Million Dollar Fever, Big Money Super Ticket
-    $5 tickets: 777, Big Win, Silver & Gold Crossword, $250,000 Platinum Payout
-    $3 tickets: All American Bucks
-    $2 tickets: 2018, $100 Frenzy, Lucky Green
-    $1 tickets: $50 Frenzy, Loose Change, Money Bags

You have 90 days from the announced end date to claim a prize. For the games listed above, all prizes must be claimed on or before Thursday, November 29, 2018. Claims of $600 up to $99,999 must be made at one of the six regional claim centers before 5 p.m. that day while claims of $100,000 and above must be made at lottery headquarters before 5 p.m. on that day as well.

Mail-in claims must be received within 90 days of the official end-of-game date. Remember, postmarks will not satisfy the 90-day requirement.

Check your tickets carefully and make sure you're not overlooking some prizes. We'd hate to see anyone miss out on a big win.

The money that's not paid out Should have been put in black Geographical locations.but Instead the lottery commission Keep it for profit.and that Changes the odds of winning for Blacks only.NC Lottery
The lottery does not keep any of its profits. By law, half of unclaimed prize money goes to education—the good cause that the lottery serves. The other half goes right back into our games in the form of prize money. We wish you good luck, Charles.

NC lottery is by far the worst in the nation! I buy several $30.00 tickets a week and I’m lucky to even break even on one of those tickets! Go to VA and buy 4 $30.00 tickets and won on every one! Bottom line is , NC does not tell the truth in the odds of their tickets!! NC Lottery
Hey, Zachary. Instant games are carefully printed and audited to ensure they contain all the prizes as advertised. To get the overall odds to win a breakeven prize, you take the total number of tickets and divide them by the total number of prizes. Those odds apply to the entire game. A game involves millions of tickets distributed randomly to more than 6,900 locations across the state. Odds of 1 in 4 do not mean you're guaranteed to win a prize if you buy several tickets in a row. Winning and non-winning tickets are distributed at random throughout the entire game. Per the holiday millionaire tickets...I know of a store in one town that just got some in. Asked about them at another 2 retailers in another nearby town and they told me they couldn't order them any longer. What the heck ? LZ...question I've been wondering about. Per the REMAINING prizes on scratch off games shown on the NC lottery website...does the remaining count on any prize over $ 600.00 show/go down when tickets are known to be sold or AFTER the prize is claimed ? Hi Tony, We only know where a winning ticket was sold after it is claimed, so the prizes remaining gets updated each day based upon the amount of claims.

Hi Timothy, Since the Holiday Millionaire ticket is a seasonal game, many retailers opt to stock current games in their stores. However, it is available to be ordered by retailers and approximately 1,200 retailers do have it in stock. They are available at any of our regional office locations as well. Hope this helps!

Hey Olethia, You do know you can also enter winning tickets, not just the non winning ones. It's been that way for a few years now. I wish LZ would have kept it to just non winners. Hence the name 2nd chance. It would give the store owners and clerks less tickets to use to their advantage and abuse their positions in the lottery food chain so to speak.

Hi Olethia, No, once you have entered your various tickets into Lucke-Rewards for points, all points are valued the same regardless of which ticket they came from. You can use those points to enter any Lucke-Rewards drawing. Let us know if you have any other questions!

As a matter of fact, we do! September will bring a Lucke-Rewards drawing where five lucky players will be drawn to receive $5,000, and a second drawing where each week one lucky player will be drawn to win $500. As of today, the Dog Days of Summer Lucke-Rewards drawing has 1,070,323 entries.

To see your entries into second-chance and Lucke-Rewards drawings, make sure you are logged in. If you are using a desktop, select your name at the top right of the screen.
