Dates set for remaining Carolina Cash second-chance drawings

Don’t miss your chance to win a North Carolina dream vacation. Dates are set for the two remaining Carolina Cash second-chance drawings.

The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5. The deadline to enter your tickets is Friday, Aug. 31. The final drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct.3. The deadline to enter that drawing is Sunday, Sept. 30.

All top prizes in the Carolina Cash game have been won, so the lottery is ending the game. Players who buy the game can enter either drawing.

We’ll pick two lucky players in each drawing to receive a North Carolina vacation package worth over $13,000. They can choose one of the following:

Grove Park Inn

This vacation for two features a four day/three night stay at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville. It includes breakfast and dinner, as well as two rounds of golf, and two eighty minute spa treatments.

The Biltmore Experience

This vacation for two features a four day/three night stay at the Inn at Biltmore Estates in Asheville. It includes breakfast and dinner, as well as a behind-the-scene winery tour and tasting, red wine and chocolate tasting, a Premium Biltmore house tour, and a private carriage ride.

NASCAR weekend in Charlotte

Enjoy a trip to Charlotte for two for the Coca-Cola 600 or Bank of America 500 Race weekend. You’ll receive three night’s hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner, and tickets to the following:

Suite tickets for the Saturday NASCAR XFINITY Series Race
Legends Suite tickets for Sunday’s NASCAR Monster Energy Series Race
Tickets to the NASCAR Hall of Fame

Beach House Week

This vacation includes accommodations in a three-bedroom beach house for seven nights along the North Carolina shoreline and Outer Banks.

Pinehurst Golf Weekend

This vacation for two features a four day/ three night stay in Pinehurst. You’ll receive hotel accommodations, daily breakfast and dinner, and three rounds of golf.

Hi Sallee, If you win a prize from a second-chance drawing, we will attempt to notify you through email. If we don't get a response, we will follow up with a phone call and then certified mail.

Hi William, As stated in the promotion rules, this prize is not transferable. However, we want to note that the winner will have two years from the claim date to take their trip. We hope that will allow the winner enough time for the winner to make arrangements.

Hi Stephen, The prize does not have a cash option, however, the winner has the choice of which dates they would like to book their trip in an effort to accommodate this situation.

LZ, the dates for the vacations are on the drawings and promotions page. But when you check for number entries on the draws page after you click of "my entries" and choose "all" it still says TBD. So does the dream makeover. the 1st 3 drawings were only a month apart. It has been 2 months almost 3 since the 3rd drawing. Are you about to decide on a date for the last dream makeover drawing?NC Lottery
Thanks for pointing that out, Denver! We will have our team update those pages. Regarding the final $25,000 Dream Makeover second-chance drawing, there is no date set yet. Second-chance drawings are meant to last the lifetime of the game, so as more top prizes are claimed, a draw date will be determined. We will be sure to let our players know as soon as the date is set!

Hi Jennifer, We're not sure what number you are referring to for the $25,000 Dream Makeover second-chance drawing. Could you please give us more information on the issue you are experiencing? To enter your ticket into the $25,000 Dream Makeover second-chance drawing, all you need to do is visit the "Collect" page and scan or manually enter the barcode on your $25,000 Dream Makeover scratch-off ticket. You will be automatically entered into the appropriate second-chance drawing for the ticket.

No. After the ticket information is successfully submitted as an entry, the original ticket is not required to claim a second-chance prize. Good luck.

im trying to see how to play the second chance lottery I have entered my entries but I do not see where or how im suppose to use the points ive accumulated to play second chance lottery can someone please tell me how do I play the game after I have entered my tickets numbers. please help. Here you go. Click on your username in the top right hand corner of the page after signing in. Your dashboard will come up. If you navigate to the ‘Draws’ page, punch the Second-Chance tab, and select ‘All’ from the drop-down menu, you will see your entries in the right column.

know game is ending and being picked up. Any clue as the actual pick-up dates? will they be any out there left to buy for the last drawing? NC Lottery
No. Each day as lottery sales reps visit their stories they will be picking up the unsold tickets. It generally takes about three weeks to pick up the tickets. Players have a choice if they want to enter for the third drawing or the last one.

To Shanaja A. Are you scanning each one of your 2nd chance tickets twice?? Once under the "check" icon to see if you won. Then again under the "collect" icon to enter your ticket for points and the 2nd chance contest. Please keep us posted on your situation and good luck with it.
