First Tuesday multiplies your chances to win

What’s better than one of your favorite things? How about 5, 10, 15, or even 50 of them? This First Tuesday, you have the chance to multiply what you love with our new suite of Multiply The Cash scratch-off tickets.

There are $119 million in prizes up for grabs and, as a bonus, each game has extra chances to win.

We’re also multiplying your chances to win with four second-chance drawings. You can enter any of the Multiplier tickets for a chance to win a top prize of $50,000. For each drawing, we’ll choose one winner of $50,000, eight winners of $5,000, and 25 winners of $500. The deadline to enter the first drawing is March 31. The drawing is scheduled for April 3.

So let me understand clearly reading some post can be confusing! The Multiply the cash 2nd Chance drawing for 4/3/19 took place on Wednesday, and if I won I'd know via email by the following day or is it only the 2nd day which equals 48 hours??NC Lottery
Hey Anthony, Generally winners are notified within 48 hours of the draw day. However, due to the high volume of winners being notified from the Lucky Cash Dash drawing and the other drawings scheduled for April 3, players can expect a delay. Have the winners been notified for last months lucke rewards and second chance drawings? Do you draw the top prize first then work down?NC Lottery
Hi Lisa, For our Lucke-Rewards and second-chance drawings, we typically notify winners within 48 hours of the draw day. So, for the drawings that were held on Wednesday, we will be working to notify the winners via email before the end of the day today. As for the draw process, each entry is assigned a random number and then our generator draws the winning numbers in order or prize level.

the crossword is what I like you get two words is 3.00 usually three words is 3.00 so far Ive been getting one word maybe my luck will change because these games just started.

Just got 3 of the new $10 tickets. One had a 2x $10 for a $20 and one had a match for a $10 winner. Now I got a few tickets to enter in the new 2nd chance drawing. Since I got my $$ back now I can buy a few pic 3s this month......

If lottery is available at retailers regular store hour than you should let the folks at circle k know that cause they stop selling between the hours of 11pm and 6 or 7 am. Lumberton also stops selling at curtain hours.NC Lottery
Hi Kenya, Can you let us know what specific stores this is happening at? We will have a member of our team reach out to them directly. We clarified with our team who works directly with our retailers and while we strongly encourage all of our retailers to offer lottery tickets during their normal business hours, some stores set sales times for tickets.

You know it's sad that you guys come out with new tickets and it's the exact same thing on all tickets alot of repeating numbers in order for example on the 50x ticket it has 13,14,15,17,18,19 and when you scratch the winning numbers guess what I find the number 16 and it's like for all the new tickets I have scratched today except the $3 one. Why do you have to do that I have 2 of them like that and I think it's messed up that you guys would do that. I don't like that at all and do the 2x,10x,20x,and 50x exist at all cause I've spent $45.00 on the new ones and haven't even seen any of the multipliers.NC Lottery

15X Crossword was in my favorite store today so I bought one to try it. The first thing I decided to do was scratch the multiplier box it was a 5X the prize! Played the ticket thinking it would be at least a $3 winner plus multiplier, I was wrong, nothing! I have played N C Scratchers since they started never seen a loser with a 5X's Multiplier! I'm not a complainer but this is very deceptive!!! This style of ticket will not help your SALES.......

Hey Mary! The "Bonus Plays" are a set of numbers on each scratch-off (except the $3 15X The Cash Crossword), that give you extra chances to match to your winning numbers for a prize. The $3 15X The Cash Crossword does not have the same play style as the other tickets to allow for "Bonus Plays".

Great question, Nicole. Lottery tickets should be available for purchase during the retailer's normal business hours.
